Little Rookies Fall Ball 2024

Little Rookies at HGSA is now offering a new program for 3-5 year old girl's softball!

Your athlete will learn the basics of the game, including;

-Base running

-Throwing

-Fielding

-Hitting

-Hand/Eye Coordination

Learn to play the game in an age and skill appropriate format that will keep your child's attention and motivation high. Each session ends with a small scrimmage to help athletes learn to play a real game.

Little Rookies uses age appropriate equipment provided by the program. (No glove needed - hands on catching for coordination building, the program uses foam bats and/or Wiffle ball bats to maintain a safe environment for younger athletes) Little Rookies uses soft touch balls that are used without a softball glove - no need to purchase a glove at this time!

Athletes are involved in HGSA league events (picture day, opening day parade, end of year picnic, etc.) Get involved now!

Days/Times: 7 classes (weeks), 1 hour (45 mins instruction/ 15 min scrimmage) SUNDAYS at 9:00-10:00am

Starting September 15, 2024 (Sundays) 9am. Rain makeups may vary.

Equipment Needed: Molded Spikes (not metal) preferred, no gloves required

Please wear comfortable athletic attire, black bottoms preferred as this is what our HGSA athletes wear and it will get your athlete into the routine.

2024 Fall Rec

Welcome to the Hamilton Girls Softball Association Fall Ball registration system!

Teams will be drafted based upon playing experience.

Mandatory Fall Cleanup is scheduled for August 10 & 11, rain date is August 17 & 18. Each family must volunteer two hours of time between 8am and 12pm on those days. If you would like to buyout of fall cleanup, the fee is $75 and you will have the option to do so upon the completion of your registration.
