Greetings Coaches and Prospective Coaches!

Thank your for volunteering to be a part of the Hamilton Girls Softball Association (HGSA). If you’re new to the league, HGSA is a girl’s fast-pitch softball league serving players ages 4 to 18 in the greater Hamilton, New Jersey area.

We have separate Spring and Fall recreational seasons and they are run with the objective of serving girls of our community regardless of their skill level. Our Spring Season is a full competitive and instructional season; whereas, our Fall season is generally very low key and a time where we catch up on fundamentals and focus on development.  HGSA also offers the Hamilton Hurricanes All Star Travel program for those who want to play softball at a more competitive level.

As a coach, you are the most important person in our organization. You determine the kind of experience our athletes have with softball. Our league can only survive based upon the commitment of people like yourselves who are willing to provide the time and effort to manage and coach our players. Our coaches are part of an organization that expects the best for themselves and for their players.

There is no one single action that can have more of a positive impact on our players than improving the quality and knowledge of our managers and coaches. This new section of our website is designed to be a tool which contains links for you to use to understand our league's philosophy, guidelines and most importantly, provides some very useful tools for planning a positive, productive and fun softball experience for all.
