Spring 2023 Registration is OPEN!

It is our job to be constantly improving and I make it my personal mission to always make each and every season better than the last. So we as a board took a look a look at all of the things we have done, what is working, what isn't working and what could use some improvements. I am not promising perfection, but I am promising we are working our very hardest to deliver your athletes the best experience on and off the field that we possibly can! We have spring 2023 ready to roll with all of our usual practices games and events... but we also have a few tricks up our sleeves to surprise you along the way! But let's keep this email as brief as possible and dive into the good stuff!We heard our volunteers and parents when they asked us to streamline our fundraising! Having so much going on was hard for our managers and parents to keep track of, so we have done away with the Joe Corbi Pizza Kits Fundraiser!! We have also put all of our fundraising upfront into our registration. So once you are registered you have fulfilled 100% of your fundraising obligations. With that said, you will notice the 50/50's have been added into your registration fee, increasing your upfront cost by $50. You will receive ten 50/50 tickets with a $5 face value at meet and greet. If you sell all ten you get that $50 back. Our pot the last two years has been over 13k and we anticipate this one will be even bigger. So you can also choose to fill those tickets out and keep them for yourself! You can also request as many as you would like to sell! As always the fee of $50 for coupon cards is included at registration. You will receive five $10 face value coupon cards to sell and again can earn back the full $50 upfront cost. This will bring your total fundraising fee at registration to $100. Once that is paid during registration you are done fundraising for the season! Perhaps our biggest change you will notice has already started taking place and that is the addition of our instructional division. Due to an increase in registrants over the last few seasons, we have be able to bring back the instructional division. This division is for our athletes ages 7 & 8. It is a bridge division between coach pitch and kid pitch. This division is such an instrumental step for our athletes and we are so excited to be offering it again!The next thing the board approved was a small price bump. We have kept our prices the same for many years now. That has been made possible by the efforts of all of our events, volunteers and fundraising. However, we are not immune to the inflation around us. We have increased the price of each division by $15 dollars. However, with that increase we are now including socks with you athlete's uniform! Our managers are responsible for a lot more than you see out on the fields and we appreciate all that they do! Adding socks into the uniforms is one less thing that they have to coordinate and one less thing that you as parents have to pay for down the line. Early bird registration discount is going on now through 11/30/22. It is $15 and stacks with all other discounts!! We offer a $30 discount on the second and beyond athlete you enroll! Tball is ineligible for all discounts as Tball is FREE! Division pricing is as followsTball - FREE Instructional - $65Minor, Major & Senior - $115Another thing you've all requested is all the important dates upfront, well we have them!! Player evaluations, previously called tryouts, will be on 2/18Instructional 10amMinor 11amMajor 12pmSenior TBDDrafts to take place immediately following each division's evaluation. Drafts are for team managers and league agents only.Meet and greet for divisions tball, instructional, minor & major will take place on 2/25.Tball 10amInstructional 11amMinor 12pmMajor 1pmSenior TBDSpring clean up days will be 3/11 & 12 & rain days for that will be 4/1 & 4/2Games to start the week of 4/3Opening day will be 4/15. End of the year picnic will be on 6/16 - the super 50/50 will be drawn at the picnic. Division schedules are tentative and subject to change based on enrollment. However, we have worked as hard as we can to prepare for all scenarios. The numbers of teams we can take goes hand in hand with the amount of volunteers we have. So Please consider volunteering for a manager or coaches position!
